I grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and work as a Graphic Designer. In 2009 after deciding to take a break from long days staring at a computer screen, I began taking art classes with NZ Artists Matthew Browne, Kathryn Stevens & Linda Roche.

In 2013 I was accepted onto a year-long painting course, the first of four, aimed at students who already had some drawing and painting experience. The course allows artists to follow an independent path of research and to identify and to develop a personal direction and philosophy.

In 2017 I set up Studio 6, an artists’ space in the Sunday School Union heritage building on Queen Street, Auckland Central. I continue to work there today along with five other talented female artists. Studio 6 is a bright, versatile studio space offering many opportunities to conduct artist-run initiatives in conjunction with Art Week and White Night amongst others.

I exhibit regularly across the country and am represented by Black Door Gallery in Parnell and The Frame Workshop and Gallery in Herne Bay, Auckland, NZ.
